Ann-Marie Nielsen

Obituary of Ann-Marie Nielsen

Ann-Marie Nielsen, the precious love of my life and very best friend, passed away suddenly on April 17, 2008. As in the Danish tradition, we recently celebrated twelve and a half years of marriage and eternal love. Ann-Marie was a highly intelligent and resourceful woman, as well as a problem solving expert both at work and at home. She was a loving woman, who gave her all in everything she did. Ann-Marie loved arts and crafts and was truly professional in these endeavours. Ann-Marie was born in Denmark and immigrated to Canada with her family in 1954, where they settled in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Ann-Marie leaves behind her loving husband, Doug Hawkins; parents, Hans and Johanna Nielsen; daughters, Cori-Ann (Mike) Mogan, Karen (Scott) Homan; brothers, Dennis (Diane), Eric and Paul; grandchildren, Aidan, Nessa and Fayth. Ann-Marie will also be lovingly remembered by many friends and co-workers. One true love is worth everything this world has to offer. Never to be forgotten. A Celebration of Ann-Marie’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
