Obituary of Carol Suzanne Lee

Carol Suzanne Lee, beloved wife of Mr. Geoff Lee of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at the age of 61 years. Carol was born in Montreal, QC on February 21, 1947. On July 17, 1971, she married her husband of thirty-six years, Geoff Lee. They resided in Montreal, where Carol worked as an educator, until moving to Calgary in 1978. Carol continued her career in education in Calgary at Eugene Coste Elementary School. She was an active member of Southwood United Church and enjoyed helping others in need through various charity organizations. Most of all, Carol was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She took great pride in her children’s accomplishments and always valued their activities. Besides her loving husband Geoff, Carol is survived by her daughters, Heather, currently residing in North Carolina and Christine of Calgary. Carol is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Brian Wagner of Montreal; her niece and nephew, Beth and Gregg Wagner; and her cousin-in-law Mark Christopher of Calgary. Carol was predeceased by her parents James and Lucille Safford.
