Obituary of Gerald McGivern

Gerry reached the finish line of his year-long mental bike race against a rare cancer (GIST) on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. He was 69 years old. Gerry’s tenacity, grit and humour were an inspiration to all who supported his ride. He will be remembered as a hero by his loving family, wife Ann (nee Bonnell), “favourite daughter” Chelsea, and best friend and son James.
