Obituary of Lavina Viola Jensen

JENSEN – Lavina Viola August 18, 1922 – April 15, 2008 Lavina Jensen of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Lavina was raised in Manyberries, AB but was born in Malta, Montana because tornado weather prevented her parents, Earl and Elsie House from returning to Alberta. Lavina’s memory will be forever cherished by her children, Henry (Murielle) Hoffman, Pat (Bill) Kimery, Loreen Jensen, George (Linda) Jensen, Diana (Cliff) Hendrie, Anna Marie Holland and Alvin (Susan) Jensen; seventeen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Florence Stewart. Lavina was predeceased by her first husband, Louis Hoffman on February 21, 1945 and again by her husband of fifty-five years, Jim Jensen on February 10, 2003.
