Obituary of Emilia Halkiewich

Emilia (Min) Halkiewich, of Calgary and formerly of Edmonton, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Min was born in Edmonton. She was employed with NAR in her early years, then began employment with CNR in the accounting department, where she worked for many years. Min was a member of the Northgate Senior Centre in Edmonton. Min is survived by her niece Jo-Anne (Dennis) Killips, and their daughter Acacia and son Sean, all of Calgary; and her nephew Jack Maslyk, and his sons, Todd of Edmonton and Dell of Vancouver, and Todd’s son Kelly. Min is also survived by her cousins Raynell (Floyd) Cormen, Millie Mendiuk and Mary Mendiuk. Min was predeceased by her father in 1945, her mother in 1974, her brother in 1946 and her sister and best friend Anne in 1995.
