Obituary of Aino Marjatta Korvela-Lamb

It is with profound sadness that the loving family and the family she deeply loved wishes to inform her friends that Aino Marjatta Korvela-Lamb passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2008 with her family by her side. Aino is survived by her loving husband and soul mate Colin; her daughter and son-in-law Tiina and Ken Moore; her sons and daughter-in-law, Kimmo and Debbie Korvela, and Kaj Korvela; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Danna) Korvela, Melissa Korvela (Cody), Chris Korvela and Liam Moore; great-grandchildren, Xavier, Faith and Darius Korvela; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Leena and Jerry Stilson, their children, Miia (Doug) Williams and Kyle Stilson; Eeva and George Lyons and their family; her brother Juha Lappi and his family in Finland; her stepsons Nolan (Barbara) Lamb and Eldon Lamb; her stepdaughter Charley-Anne; as well as numerous relatives and friends in Finland. Aino was predeceased by her husband Kauko Korvela, mother Signe Lappi her father Lauri Lappi, and her sister Maija Lappi. Memorial Service will be held at McInnis & Holloway’s “Park Memorial Chapel” (5008 Elbow Drive South West) on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 10:30 am.
