Obituary of Mary Margaret Helen Collins

Mary Margaret Helen Collins, of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the age of 90 years. Helen was born in Calgary, AB on January 28, 1918. She attended Stanley Jones Elementary School and Crescent Heights High School. Helen worked with Mannix Construction and with the United Grain Growers as a comptometer operator. Helen is survived by her loving daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Ted Downard of Calgary, AB and Janeen and Don Smith of Carstairs, AB, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and by her friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband, Art of sixty-three years, and by her brother George. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, April 14, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
