Obituary of Susan Elaine Weisgerber

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Susie, beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister, auntie, and most of all, friend, on Monday, April 7, 2008 at the age of 50 years. Susie’s unwavering faith in her Lord and her sense of community provided strength during her courageous ten year battle with cancer. She was a long time member of Foothills United Church, Foothills United Church UCW and Women of the Moose. Susie is survived by her husband Tony; son Peter; mother Leah Goodkey; sisters Ellie a.k.a. “Fern” (Neil) Christoffersen, Cate (John) Greene, Beth Goodkey; brother Richard (Barb) Goodkey; and Auntie Doreen Broad. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends including Peanut, Puff, Molly and Tom-hanks. Sue was predeceased by her father John, nephew Mark, Uncle Earl and Charlie. A Celebration of Susie’s Life will be held at Foothills United Church (3803 – 69th Street N.W.) on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
