Obituary of Freda Pricilla HUTCHINSON

January 30, 1926- Winnipeg, MB October 7, 2017 – Calgary, AB Freda Hutchinson of Calgary, AB, passed away at the Foothills Medical Center on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the age of 91 years. Freda was born in Winnipeg, MB in 1926. She spent her early years on the farm in Crandall, MB, before marrying Marshall Hutchinson in December of 1946 and making their home in Winnipeg, MB. In 1953 they moved to Calgary where she remained. They were married fifty three years until Marsh’s unexpected passing in 1999. Freda very much enjoyed her many years working in the Bakery at Safeway and continued to enjoy the friends she made there, until her passing. Freda was an avid reader but was happiest when around young children, pets and visits with her sister Laura. She always had family first in her thoughts and actions. She will be sadly missed by her son and daughter-in-law Syl and Linda; her grandchildren Colby and Nicole and great-grandchild Kekoa. Freda is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law Robby and Mary Gunson of Winnipeg, MB, and a sister Laura Brown of Edmonton, AB.
