Obituary of Darlene Marilyn Labelle

Darlene Marilyn Labelle passed away on April 5, 2008 at the age of 53 years. Darlene enjoyed outdoor life to the fullest where she took part in many fire fighting training camps as a head cook. She loved to go traditional camping, making dry meat, and in her younger years she enjoyed horseback riding. With her loving touch Darlene took up knitting, beadwork and making crafts for her family and friends. She will be lovingly remembered by her common-law husband, Clarke Simeon; children Gina(Harry), Zabrina(Edwin), Barret(Tammy), Donna (Brian), Danny(Clarissa), Clarke Jr.; adopted daughter Genny(Todd) adopted son Randy Simeon(Mud); parents, George and Sheila Labelle; sisters, Bernadette(Clifford), Kathy(Kevin), Lana(Bowen); brother Conal Labelle; grandchildren, whom she cherished, Chance, Tiora, Tyrell, Kylen, Chelseana, Sandis, Brent, Tavis, Timothy, Jonai, Issac, Ryland, Anthony, Tia, Shayden, Magel, Dannaya, Ikes, Alexis, Carmelo. Extended family, Holloway, Mark, Snow, Labelle, Poucette, Rider, Daniels and Lefthand. The family would like to apologize in advance if they have missed anyone. Darlene was predeceased by her daughters, Mavis (1974), Claudia (2000); grandson Heaven (2006); brother, George Jr. (1988); sister, Coralynn (1994); and nephews, Sherman (1997), Wacey (2008). Wake Services will be held at the residence of Darlene Labelle (Morley, AB) on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 and Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Funeral Services will be held at the Morley Gymnasium (Morley, AB) on Thursday April 10, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Morley, AB).
