Obituary of Neil Bell
Neil Bell beloved husband of Rena Bell of Calgary passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the age of 70 years.
Neil was born in Calgary and married Rena Grose on August 27, 1960. His career as a Peace Officer for Alberta Corrections provided him with many opportunities in Southern Alberta. He had a passion for Life and always showed it with his smile and attitude. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and was known as “Uncle Neil” to many.
Besides Rena, his loving wife, Neil is remembered by his two sons Brian (Sharmaine) and Dale; grandchildren Brady and Amy; sister Doreen, three brothers Ralph (Betty-Ann), Eric (Joyce) and Percy (Ellie); as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Neil is now with his heavenly Father as well as, parents Queenie and Robert and brothers Bob (Eleanor) and George (Doreen).
A Celebration of Neil’s Life will be held at Harvest Hills Alliance Church (10099 Harvest Hills Boulevard N.W.) on Monday, April 7, 2008 at 2:00pm. In living memory of Neil Bell, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park by McInnis & Holloway Funeral Homes, Chapels of the Bells, 2720 Centre Street North (403-276-2296).
