Obituary of Maria do Carmo Sousa

Maria do Carmo Sousa, beloved wife of departed Antonio Coelho Sousa, passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on Friday, March 28, 2008 at the age of 70 years. Maria Sousa was born on August 28, 1937 in Fontinhas, Terceira, Azores. A hard and committed worker, Maria was employed by Bonar Packaging at the time of her retirement. She will be forever remembered for her special sweet bread made by loving hands. Maria is survived by her loving son Antonio (Tony) Eulalio Sousa (Jamie Ross); loving daughter Maria Alice Dolan (Robert Gagné); grandchildren, Nick Pereira, Danny Sousa, Jason Pereira, Carissa Dolan, Michael Sousa; sisters, Lurdes (Fransisco) Silva, Maria Merces da Silva of Azores; brother, Joao de Sousa da Silva (Maria Merces) of Azores; her furry companions Cinderella and Sonny, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Maria do Pilar and Fransisco de Sousa da Silva.
