Obituary of Ruby Builder
Robeana “Ruby” Willing Builder of Calgary passed away peacefully at the Bow View Manor on Thursday, March 27, 2008 at the age of 93 years.
Ruby and Wilbert were dairy farmers in the Symons Valley area until the 60’s when they sold the farm and retired to Calgary. They enjoyed numerous winters with many friends in Yuma, AZ. Ruby will always be remembered for her love of gardening and her kindness towards others.
Ruby will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Howie (Heather Henderson) of Cremona and Dave (Brenda) of Keoma; two granddaughters Amber Builder of Keoma and Brandy (Dana) Cowan of Irricana; one great-granddaughter Georgia Cowan and four special nieces, Gayle, Trud, Susie and Ang. She was predeceased by her husband Wilbert in 1989 and her one brother Jimmy Wilson in 2002.
A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Airdrie Funeral Home (300 Towerlane Drive, Airdrie, Alberta) on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of the donor’s choice.
