Obituary of Strangling Wolf

It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and friend to all. Woodrow leaves to mourn his parents, Chris Sr. and Susan Strangling Wolf; children Derrick (Crystal) Broyce, and Danielle; stepchildren Marie and Olivia Low Horn; and grandchildren, Summer, Carter, and Destiny. He will also be missed by his siblings Chris Jr. (Colleen), Sharon (Art), Donna (Clayton), Jackie (Kelly), Velma (Gilbert), Francis, Peter (Stella), Catherine, Eldon (Alvina), Adolph (Vivian), and Leonard (Audrey) Bastien; Aunts Connie (Michael Rabbit Carrier), and Liz Scout. Woody was very close to all of his nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by our grandparents Fred and Victoria Turning Robe, and Ben and Lucy Mary Strangling Wolf; brothers Ben, Roland, and Kim. Woody also had many relatives from the Bloods, Siksika, and Hobbema that are too numerous to mention. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Wake Services will be held at the Siksika Community Center (Siksika Nation, AB) on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Siksika Community Center (Siksika Nation, AB) on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Graveside Service to follow at Paul Little Walker Cemetery.
