Obituary of Albert Ganske

After a life of hard work, much love and laughter, and a fair share of tears, Albert passed away quietly at Chinook Park Hospice on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Albert was born in Millet, AB to Daniel and Bertha Ganske (Zilkie). He was a fun-loving man who made lots of friends everywhere he went, at work, bowling and golf. Albert will be remembered and treasured by his children Gary (Jane), Sharon (Ron) Gehring, and Sonja (Jeff) Norman, as well as his grandchildren Amy, Rashelle, Melissa, Tamara and Matthew and great grandsons Gage and Tarek. His sole surviving sister, Lily, resides in Leduc. A Celebration of Albert’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
