Obituary of Mary Elsie Elizabeth Moore

Elsie Moore, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wonderful friend passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2008 in her 98th year. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1988 and her daughter-in-law Fay in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Bunnie (Gordon) MacFarlane; her son Frederick Moore (Paula Hagel); grandchildren Shannon (David), Megan (Steven), Tom (Sue-Ellen), Keri Ellen, Clark (Charlotte), Kirk (Candice); and great-grandchildren, Kristen, Ryan (Susan), Mallory, Zachary, Gavin, Morgan, Hannah, and Meredith. Elsie was an avid ceramist, quilter, seamstress, and poet. She loved to share her gifts and talents with family and friends. Over the years she was active in her church and community. Elsie’s zest for life, beauty, and dignity touched all who knew her.
