Obituary of Brandon Thomas McIntosh

It is with our greatest sorrow that we regretfully announce the untimely passing of Brandon Thomas McIntosh on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Born and raised in Calgary, Brandon came into our hearts at 5:23 a.m. March 19, 1989. Brandon attended James Fowler High School with consistently high marks and awards in Math/Science, and graduated in 2007 as science student of the year. Employed with Tosco Mechanical Ltd. as an apprentice Plumber/pipe fitter, Brandon was looking forward to an eventual return to school in pursuit of his dream of a degree in geophysics. Brandon’s passions included his family, friends, playing guitar, pets, skateboarding, hockey and everything that involved humor, warmth and fun. Brandon deeply touched the lives of those blessed to have known him and will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his family; father Glen McIntosh, mother Sheila Hanford, best friend and brother Jameson and little brother Jaxon, Stepfather Gregg, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, coworkers, teachers, his many loving friends and Newt the cat. Brandon’s generosity didn’t end with his life. Through Brandon’s organ donations we’ve been informed that four people were given a new lease on life as a result of his gift “The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.” Harriet Beecher Stowe.
