Obituary of Lionel Arthur Quinn
Lionel Arthur Quinn of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the age of 75 years.
Lionel was born in Montreal, QC on July 22, 1932. He attended McGill University and graduated as an electrical engineer. Lionel played football for McGill University and went on to play for the Montreal Alouettes and the Edmonton Eskimos. Lionel had a great sense of humour and enjoyed playing squash and badminton at the Glencoe Club. He successfully operated L.A. Quinn & Associates for numerous years.
Lionel is survived by his son Philip of England; his niece Vivian Demianiw; his nephew Douglas Demianiw, both of Texas, USA; and his good friend Joan Taylor of Calgary. He was predeceased by his parents; his brother Hubert; and his sister Gwyneth.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S “Park Memorial Chapel” (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
