Obituary of Patricia Gregory
Patricia “Pat” Gregory of Calgary passed away in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Agapé Hospice at the age of 86 years.
Pat was born in Sturgeon, P.E.I. but moved to Calgary in 1950 and has resided here since. Pat and Earl were co-founders of Tuxedo Cycle & Sports which opened February, 1960. Pat spent time in the store every day until December 2, 2007 when illness prevented her from doing this. Her daily presence will be deeply missed. Pat was a faithful and loyal member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Family and friends were very important to her and she loved to spend time with them. Pat was a devoted grandmother and enjoyed time with her grandchildren.
Pat will be sadly missed by her children, Jim (Janet) and Jack (Trish) of Calgary; three grandchildren, Theresa of Toronto and Erin and Ryan of Calgary as well as several nieces and nephews and other relatives both in Calgary and P.E.I. She was predeceased by her husband Earl; parents, James and Annie Bowlen; brothers, Emmett, Howard and Clare and sisters Mary Sinnott and Jean Frew.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W.) on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in St. Joseph’s section at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
