Obituary of Ileene Moore
Ileene Moore passed away the morning of Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the Foothills Hospital with the love of her family surrounding her.
Ileene was born and raised in Calgary, the daughter of Frederick Hamilton Lepper and Elizabeth Violet Lepper. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, her best friend and loving partner, John “Jack” Moore. Together, they explored the mountains, cycling and hiking from their retirement home in Canmore, and in later years took these passions to Arizona for the winter so they could stay active all year round. Mom loved nothing more than to have her family around her, embracing all of us with her caring and warmth. In additon to her husband, she leaves to mourn her loss, more than words can say, her children Maureen Moore (David Scobie), Michael Moore (Kathy Moore), Kathryn Moore (Brad Wiese), her beloved grandchildren Taryn and Evan Motter, Callum and Stephen Moore, Brittany and Liam Wiese and her sister Betty Kent.
