Obituary of Elizabeth Kramer
Beth Kramer beloved wife of Herb of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the age of 81 years.
Besides her loving husband Herb of fifty-eight years, Beth is survived by her sons, Rob (Robyn) and Dann (Pam); her daughters, Rita Valen and Donna; her grandchildren, Scott (Kyla), Kaitlyn, Erin and Joe Kramer and Dustin, Caramie and Stephane Valen; her great-grandchildren, Trinity, Owen and Keona Kramer; and her “daughter” Caroleigh, all of whom provided her with great joy throughout her life. Beth is also survived by several nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law. Beth was predeceased by her sister Rosetta Kirby; and her brother Ted Mellon.
Beth was active in the community during her life and worked with the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Philip’s Church, making Christmas cakes every year for many years. She became active in the Order of the Eastern Star acting as Worthy Matron of Chinook Chapter #133 and was Queen of Sakkara Temple #115 Daughters of the Nile. She supported her children in their activities in Job’s Daughters and DeMolay and was there for her children when they needed her. Beth and Herb travelled to many places after his retirement, from the Orient to Europe and extensively throughout the United States, culminating in a cruise through the Panama Canal.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S “Fish Creek Chapel” (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2:30 p.m., with the Rev. John Flagar, presider.
