Obituary of Graham Wilde

Graham Wilde, beloved husband of Stephanie, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home on Monday, March 3, 2008 at the age of 59 years. Graham was born in Hillingdon, UK and spent his formative years living just outside London. This studious son of a butcher met and fell in love with Stephanie Balfour whilst still at school. Married young, children followed soon after, and in their forty years together they went on to have seven children. Graham graduated top of his class in Engineering at Manchester University and then worked in the oil industry, travelling the world with his family until finally settling in Calgary in 1993. He is lovingly remembered as a strong and loyal man who devoted his life to providing for his family. He was totally committed to his work at BJ Services and felt privileged to be part of an exceptional team of men and women, many of whom became good friends. Graham is survived by his wife Stephanie; his children, Matthew, Samantha, Alexandra, Graham, Peter, Benedict and Sophie; and his grandchildren, Rufus, Ece, Jenny, Eliz and Roxana. Funeral Service will be held at McInnis & Holloway’s “Park Memorial Chapel” (5008 Elbow Drive South West) on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at 2:30 pm.
