Obituary of John Craig Simpson

John Craig Simpson of Calgary, born in Glasgow, Scotland, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 at the age of 76 years. Papa John is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, John and Elaine Simpson of Calgary; daughter Maggie Mikkelsen of Calgary; and four grandchildren, Scott, Craig, Jay-Cee and Erik. He is also survived by his brothers, Billy, James, and George; sister Grace; and numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his wife Margaret Forder, son-in-law Gunnar Mikkelsen and brothers David and Bobby Simpson. A Celebration of Papa John’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
