Nancy was born and grew up in Antrodoco, (Rieti) Italy; one of four children to Rosina Mancini and Orlando Pandolfi. She had brothers Domencio (Pina) and Luigino (Maria); sister Fabiola, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Nancy came to Canada in December, 1952 and married Giuseppe (Joseph) Poscente, son of Clelia Felli and Priamo Poscente at St. Anthony’s Church in Drumheller, AB. in January 1953. Nancy and Joseph had two children, Sandro Priamo and Clelia Rosa. They lived their entire life in Calgary amidst many friends. Nancy tended dearly to her family and maintained close contact with her brothers, sister and other relatives in Italy. Nancy was an expert in crochet and knitting. In her early years in Calgary she won an award at the Calgary Stampede for her crochet table cloth. She had a passion for homemaking, loved to shop, travel and decorate the home for Christmas which was shown in the large nativity scene display that she set up every year.
