Obituary of Ervin Kliment Pavcik

Ervin Pavcik passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed by his brother Cy (Eva) Pavcik; sisters Josephine Pollock, and Jocelan (Ernie) Alden; nine nieces and two nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; and many close friends. Ervin was predeceased by his parents Kliment and Zuzanna, and brother-in-law Don Pollock. Ervin was born in Drumheller and grew up in Nacmine and Calgary. He moved to Iowa in 1963 and served with the US Military, until he returned to Calgary in 1981 to be closer to his family. In his spare time, Ervin liked playing cards, watching sports and fishing. He also enjoyed watching his great nieces and nephews play soccer and baseball. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (15 Templebow Road N.E.) on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
