Obituary of R.M. Billie Wilder

R.M. Billie Wilder of Airdrie AB, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Billie was born in Weyburn SK, where she worked, raised her family, curled and spent summers at Kenosee Lake, then retired to Nanoose Bay BC where she spent many hours on her garden, boating and fishing and Traditional Rug Hooking, then moved to Airdrie to be closer to her daughter and family. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Leslie (Richard) Cuthbertson, grandson Shane (Charla) Cuthbertson; great-grandsons Chase and Kale; granddaughter Jodi Cuthbertson; all of Airdrie; son John (Diane) Wilder; grandaughter Carly Wilder, all of Winnipeg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Billie was predeceased by her husband Les; her brother Jack and sister-in-law Helen Andrews, her parents Arleigh and Luella Andrews; brothers-in-law Archie and Cecil; sisters-in-law Jean and Florence Wilder. A Celebration on Billie’s life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion (508 – 3rd Avenue S.E. Airdrie, AB) on Saturday March 8, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
