Obituary of Robert Bernard Warner
Bob Warner, of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the age of 78 years.
Bob was born on January 1, 1930 and was the first baby of the year in Regina, SK. Bob was raised in Winnipeg, MB and was a graduate of St. Paul’s College. He moved to Calgary in 1954 to start Warwood Business Equipment with his father E.S. (Barney) Warner. Bob enjoyed hunting, camping, hiking, fishing and gardening.
Bob is survived by his loving companion of thirty-two years Ardeth MacVicar, his children, Jeff (Kelley), Shelley Desjardins, Lori (Greg Reynard), and by his grandchildren Kristen (Tom) Clarke, Bryce, Sean and Trevor Warner and Tristin Reynard. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Colleen and Lionel Wood and Shawna and Reg Van Wassenhove all of Edmonton, AB, by the mother of his children Bunny Warner of Calgary, AB, Ardeth’s son Jim, grandson Adam both of Mission, BC and by numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents Barney and Peggy Warner and by his son Brett.
