Obituary of Inez Johnston

Inez Johnston, of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the age of 87 years. Inez was born in Ontario on August 24, 1920. She met Walter Johnston in 1946, they married in 1947 and then moved to Calgary in 1949. She worked at The Bay until the birth of her daughters. As a devoted wife and mother she had many years at home raising her children and volunteering for the Altadore Gym Club. Inez was also an active member of the Kiwanis Club, the Elda Daniels Group, the Westside Seniors and she spent many hours doing volunteer work for the Scarborough Church. Inez will be lovingly remembered by her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy (Terry), Carol (Scott); as well as her grandchildren, Kimberlee and Stephanie. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Walter and sister Iris. She will be dearly missed and memories of her will remain with her family and friends who loved her.
