Obituary of Benjamin Toews

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ben Toews of Calgary, passed away at the Foothills Medical Centre on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at the age of 91 years. Ben is survived by his present wife Jane Hegi, daughters Doreen Beaudin, (Alex Rohof) Gloria Anderson; step-children Judith (Greg) Cox, Lynda Chapman, Tom (Christine) Hegi, Beverly Hegi; he is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; five brothers; several nieces and nephews, also many friends Ben was predeceased by his first wife of 60 years Pauline in 2001. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY?S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. John Lutheran Church (204 – 6A Street N.E.) on Thursday March 6, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
