Obituary of Roy Myra

Roy Myra, beloved husband of Margaret Myra for 50 years of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Roy is survived by his loving wife Margaret, two children; Ron Myra and Sharon (Ben) Martinbeault; four wonderful grandchildren, Kayla and Bradley Myra, and Colin and Daniel Martinbeault; his twin brother Frank (Audrey) Myra; sisters Thelma McDonald, Margaret (Elsdon) Brown and Berna (Denis) Winslow, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his eldest brother Martin. Roy was born on August 11, 1929 in Calgary. He was a successful Calgary Tiling Contractor. Roy owned and operated City Wide Ceramic Tile Limited for many years up until his retirement. The family wishes to thank the staff on the Heartland Unit at the Bethany Care Centre and Dr. Bruce Wheeler for their care and support.
