Obituary of Helen Gordon

Helen Gordon of Calgary passed away in Sherwood Park, AB on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the age of 78 years. Helen was born in High River, AB and grew up and married in Calgary and lived here most of her life. She spent time living in the Edmonton area enjoying time with her family but always considered Calgary her home, no matter where she was. Helen led a full life with family and friends, especially enjoying time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her. Helen is survived by two daughters, Robin of Calgary and Rosanne (Glenn) of Sherwood Park and son Frank (Barb) Gordon; eight grandchildren, Aaron (Colleen), Greg (Dawn), Laurie (Boyd), Lyndsay (Derrick), Brandy (Chris), Stephen (Kelly), Candace and Michael and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Marie (Mike) and several special family members in Sweden. Helen was predeceased by her husband Eldon, son Robert, daughter Patricia; grandson Kenny; brother Robert and sister Dorothy. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
