Obituary of Wayne Heather
Wayne Heather, beloved husband of Maureen Heather of Airdrie, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the age of 60 years.
Wayne was born in Chilliwack, BC. He lived for a time in Stoughton, SK, moving to Alberta in the early 70’s. He worked in the courier business for thirty years, fifteen for Purolator and fifteen for DHL (Loomis). Wayne loved summers at Christina Lake, BC and long weekends at the farm near Sundre, AB with friends and family. Some of his other passions were classic cars, classic rock and his yard.
Besides his loving wife Maureen, Wayne is survived by four sons, Scott, Blair (Stephanie), Sean and Braden, all of Airdrie. He is also survived by his mother Florence; brother Ray; sisters Rose and Linda, all of Penticton, BC and his sister Judy (Maurice) of Moose Jaw, SK. Wayne was predeceased by his father, brother and sister.
A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
