Obituary of Fred Leschuk

It is with great sadness that the family of Fred Leschuk of Calgary, announce his passing on Friday, February 29, 2008 at the age of 81 years with his loving family at his side. After a courageous four month long battle with kidney cancer, Fred is survived by his beloved wife Ann (nee Lysak) of sixty years; his beloved children, daughter Jane, sons Fred (Wendy), Brian (Shirley), and Terry (Janice); grandsons Ryan (Chealsey), and Cory; and step granddaughter Michelle. Fred was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather who will also be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Fred was predeceased by his father Sam and mother Mary, and his bothers Steve and Peter. Fred retired from work as a Switchman for CPR in 1987 after 41 years of service. “You will always be loved and missed, Dad.” No formal Funeral Service will be held.
