Obituary of Big Crow
Clarence Roy Big Crow of Tsuu T’ina Nation, passed away on Friday, February 29, 2008 at the age of 77 years.
A very humble, kind and generous man, Clarence loved riding and taking care of his many horses. He was self-employed as a rancher. He believed in the Native spirituality and was a traditional pipeholder. Sadly, with the passing of Clarence, the Tsuu T’ina Nation lost a member who had a great knowledge of the Tsuu T’ina language and culture.
Clarence leaves behind his brothers and sisters, Russell (Mary), Frank (Eileen), Rodney (Yvonne), Keitha, Vanora (Clifford), and Eva; adopted sisters April Rowan and Beatrice Poucette; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clarence was predeceased by his parents, George and Hilda Big Crow; brother Hector; sisters Helen Meguinis, Edith Crowchild, and Mabel Big Crow; nephews Chiefy, William, Tony, and Clinton; nieces Loretta, Sonya, and Serena; as well as many other relatives and friends.
