Obituary of Rena Tabachnick

Rena passed away peacefully at the Beverley Centre Nursing Home on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the age of 93 years. During her teaching career, Rena was a favourite of the many Russian students whom she taught English as second language to. Rena will be lovingly remembered by her brother Joe Tabachnick of Edmonton, AB, by her special friends Elisabeth Gitterman of Israel, Ethel Allman and Gary and Esther Silberg and family of Calgary, AB and by her numerous friends and frequent visitors from the Jewish community. She was predeceased by her husband Myer Tabachnick and by her parents Eli and Dvora Tabachnick. We would like to especially thank the nurses and staff at the Beverley Centre Nursing Home where she resided for over ten years, for all of their care and devotion.
