Obituary of Karl Malinowski

Karl Malinowski formerly of Keoma, AB, passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Center in Calgary on Saturday February 23, 2008 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his loving wife Martha of sixty five years in 2002. Karl was born in Poland and came to Canada at the age of sixteen. Farmed in the Keoma, Jenner, Strathmore area before settling in Keoma in 1950. Karl truly loved the soil of the earth for which he farmed and his livestock but especially his family and many friends. He resided in the Bethany Centres in both Airdrie and Calgary since 2000. Karl is survived by his children Joanne (Raymond) Wohlford, Elsie Gorsline, all of Calgary, Leonard (Jeanette) Malinowski of Beisker, twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Thank you to all the staff of the Bethany Care Centres that provided the care and support to him and his family. Thank you to all who supported and loved Karl throughout the years especially those who stopped by and had coffee with him.
