Obituary of Jamie Davis

Jamie Wilson Davis, beloved husband of Linda Davis of Calgary, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008 at the age of 49 years. Jamie was born on May 26, 1958 in Two Mountains, Quebec. In 1980, Jamie and his newly wedded wife Linda were posted to Calgary by the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. Jamie was proud and honoured to serve in the Canadian military from 1979 to 1992. In 1983, his only child Jennifer was born. She was the light of his eye and greatest personal achievement. In 1999, his granddaughter Maria was born, and from that day forward he was a stay at home Grampa caring for his “Crump”. Jamie touched many people in different ways. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered. Besides his loving wife Linda, Jamie will be missed by his daughter Jennifer Davis and son-in-law Mike McDowell; granddaughter Maria Davis; step granddaughter Taylor; and life-long friend, Dave Russell. Jamie is also survived by his brothers Tommy and Donny, and sister Darlene. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Danny. A private family service will be held.
