It is with great sorrow that the family of John “Rocky” Bruno of Calgary announce his sudden passing on Monday, February 18, 2008 at the age of 39; a day that will forever be remembered in our hearts. John had a passion for cooking, gardening, fast cars and rock n roll. He was known for having a heart of gold and he was always there to lend a helping hand. John’s family and friends will miss his humour and laughter. Our lives are forever diminished by his absence but he will always be in our hearts. Until we see you again……. Besides his loving wife Tracey, John is survived by his daughter Alycia, his step-daughter Larissa and step-son Garett. He will be sadly missed by his loving parents Emilio and Rosa; sister Rina; brothers Joe and Dino; sisters-in-law, Connie, Kelly, Sheryle, Bev, Cathy, Pam, Chantelle; brother-in-law Robert; nieces and nephew, Maria, Cassandra, Rosalee, Emilio, Victoria and Ella as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday, February 24, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church (1100 Berkshire Boulevard N.W.) on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow in Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
