Obituary of Lucille Eleanor Lang

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Lucille Lang. Lucille, beloved wife of Steven Lang, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Intercare Chinook Hospice in Calgary on Tuesday, February 12, 2008. Lucille was born on April 26, 1935 in Young, SK. Lucille was very special to all who knew her and will be remembered for being a wonderful wife and mother and having a very generous, giving spirit. She loved to organize family gatherings and we will all cherish the many laughs and good times we all shared with her. She will be fondly remembered for being a great cook and hostess. Lucille enjoyed travelling and she had many memorable trips with her husband and family over the years. We will never forget her beautiful laugh and smile. Her lovely, caring spirit will remain with us forever. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Bradley; daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Robert; her sisters, Violet and Maxine; her brothers, Daniel, Clark, Howard and Robert and their spouses, Glenda, Ike, Joyce and Susan. She will also be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Lucille was predeceased by her mother and father and sisters, Joyce, Shirley, Margaret and Gwen and her brother Gordon. A Celebration of Lucille’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. The family also wishes to thank the staff at the Intercare Chinook Hospice for their special care of Lucille over the last few weeks.
