Obituary of Catherine Joan Bohme

It is with great sadness that the family of Catherine “Joan” Bohme, announce her peaceful passing at the Beverley Centre Glenmore on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Joan was born in Edmonton, AB in 1930 and completed her nurse’s training at the Edmonton General Hospital in 1951. She married Victor Bohme in 1952, and moved with the family to Calgary in 1959. Joan loved her family and spending time at the cottage on the West Coast, as well as travelling, music, painting and gardening. She will be lovingly remembered by her loving husband of fifty-five years; her five children, Jane (Willie), Brian, Carol (Craig), Elaine (Phil), and Beth (Olav); and eight grandchildren, Robert, Andrea, Madeleine, Tristan, Julian, Lucas, Noah and Maarten. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church (2424 – 24th Avenue N.W.) on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
