Obituary of Margaret Ferguson Brockett

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our mom, grandma, sister, and friend Margaret Ferguson Brockett, of Calgary, who passed away on Monday, February 11, 2008 at the age of 75 years. Margaret is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ian and Janie; her grandson Clayton; her beloved granddaughter Callie Jayne; her sister May; her brother John; sister-in-law Marjorie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Margaret was predeceased by her son Bruce Cameron in 1984 and her former husband Jimmy Cameron in 1993. Margaret Brockett was born in Glasgow, Scotland on March 20, 1932. She immigrated to Canada in 1952. Margaret was employed with Pan Canadian and Esso Resourses until her retirement in 1991. She was a long time member of the Callie’s Soccer Association. She loved to bake and always celebrated Robbie Burns day by having a dinner and party with her many friends. She will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew her.
