Obituary of Georgeann Vejprava

Georgeann (Georgie) Vejprava of Calgary passed away peacefully on February 9, 2008 at the age of 67. Georgeann was born in Minnedosa, MB. She moved to Calgary in 1959 and spent her career with the Canada Life Assurance Company. Georgie touched many people over her years. She was involved in a number of volunteer activities such as, running the grandparents program at Brentwood Elementary School, activities with the Calgary Winter Club, teaching Sunday school, Alberta Cancer Foundation, and working with other charitable organizations. Georgie enjoyed reading, travelling and spending time with her family. Georgie will be remembered by her family, Gordon Vejprava, Darrell, Kim and Jesse Vejprava, Sherrall Vejprava and Terry Casey, the Vejprava family, all her cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. A celebration of Georgie’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
