Obituary of Colleen Valerie Rees

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Colleen Valerie Rees on Friday, January 25, 2008 at the age of 71 years. Colleen had a great zest for life and particularly enjoyed exploring food markets and trying new recipes. Colleen leaves to cherish her memory, her brother and sister-in-law Leslie and Maureen of Yorkshire, England; her daughter Carol; her grandchildren, Chris, Josh and Meaghan; her many other relatives in England and Canada; and numerous friends from Suncor and Petro-Canada. Colleen was predeceased by her son Ivan. At Colleen’s request, there will be a private service at a later date. We ask that those who knew Colleen pause and remember her kind and gentle spirit.
