Obituary of Tylan Mason Poucette

Tylan passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the age of 17 years old. Tylan was attending Morley Community School. He believed in his traditional culture, by taking part in pow wow’s as a singer and was upon completion of his chicken dance outfit. He enjoyed playing hockey, floor hockey, skate-boarding, golf, volleyball, and darts. He also loved to go hunting and his mechanical work. He is survived by his loving mother Denise Kaquitts; his brothers, Kyle, Martin (Raelee), Brantner, Jarron; half brother, Brett; half sister, Shay, and his loving father Gardner Poucette. He is also survived by his special companion, Sharlie Wildman, and his grandmother Mona Holloway, numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, grandparents, nieces, nephews, many friends and relatives from Morley, Eden Valley, Hobbema, Enoch Cree Nation and Big horn. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Kathleen Kaquitts, Lily Poucette and Lazarus Twoyoungmen. Aunts and uncles, Gerald Kaquitts, Doreen and Barbara Kay Kaquitts, Kirby and Fergus Poucette, great-grandparetns Flora Poucette Sr, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Chiniquay, Jean Baptiste Morin, Mary Stoney, cousin Oliver Poucette. Wake services will be held at the residence of Denise Kaquitts in Morely, today, February 2 and Sunday, February 3, 2008. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2008 at the Morley Gymnasium at noon. Graveside service at the Kaquitts Cemetery, Morley, Alberta.
