Obituary of William Lothian Davidson Cuthbert

With broken hearts, the family of Bill Cuthbert, beloved husband of Patricia of Calgary, announce his passing after a sudden, short and courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the age of 63 years. Bill was born in Dunfermline, Scotland. He came to Canada with his family in 1954 and settled in Vancouver BC. Bill attended the University of British Columbia where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He married his beautiful wife Pat in 1965 and they moved to London, Ontario, where he began his career as an Actuary. They started their family and lived in London for twenty-five years where Bill became Vice President Pensions at London Life. In 1991, Bill and Pat moved their family to Calgary, Alberta, and Bill became a Managing Consultant for Watson Wyatt until he retired in 2002. Bill enjoyed his retirement years golfing, travelling with Pat and spending time at their cabin in Windermere, BC with their beloved children and grandchildren. Bill is survived by his loving wife Pat; two sons Sean (Susan) and Scott (Robin); daughter Laura (Warren); and grandchildren Erik and Paige. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 2:30 P.M.
