Obituary of Andres Valencia Creencia
Andres (Andy) Creencia, beloved husband of Maria “Juvy” Creencia of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the age of 45 years.
Andres was born on November 30, 1962 in Batangas, Philippines. He immigrated to Calgary in 1980. He attended Father Lacombe High School. Andres worked at Genco Distribution and SMED International for eighteen years, and recently enjoyed a vacation in Hawaii. He was always ‘Mr. Fix-it’ for everything. Besides his family, Andres loved fishing, swimming and ice-skating. His favourite kind of music was Filipino music and Reggae, and his favourite song was “Butterfly Kisses” by Bob Carlisle.
Besides his loving wife, Andres is also survived by his children Maria Antonette and Brittney Alexiss. He is also survived by his mother, Nelia Creencia; siblings, Evelyn & Arend, Chris & Bert, Jose & Fely, Hermie & Cora, Pedro & Melani, Precy & Steve, Greg, Rufo, Reina & Calvin, and Felix Jr.; in-laws, Elvie and Rudy Atienza, Eva and Albert Sia Lu, Mayet and Dan Prediger and his mother-in-law, Benilda Obiniana.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark?s Catholic Church (5552 Madigan Drive N.E.) on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
