Obituary of Low Horn

Joseph (Joey) Low Horn, beloved son of the late Henry and Noella and adopted parents, Vera and the late Harry Stevens, passed away suddenly at Strathmore Hospital on Monday, January 21, 2008 at the age of 49 years. Joey was born on February 12, 1958 at Blackfoot Indian Hospital. Joey was employed in several fields that consisted of clear cutting, Oil & Gas, landscaping, contract housing as well as working in farming and ranching. Joey was a friendly, outgoing and generous man. He was always willing to make the effort to welcome and assist friends and family in any way. Joey was known to be humble and compassionate. He received his education at the schools of Old Sun, Rockyford and Arrowood. Joey’s memorable travels included the Four Corners in Arizona and New Mexico. Joey will be remembered by his sisters Henrietta, Delphine, Theresa (Frank); sister-in-law Sylvia; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, friends and relatives. Wake Services will be held at Joey’s residence on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. John The Divine Anglican Church (Siksika Nation, AB) on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Cannon Stockton Cemetery (Siksika Nation, AB).
