Obituary of Abraham J. Goldberg

Abraham Goldberg of Calgary passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the Rockyview General Hospital on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at the age of 65 years. For the last forty years Arnold has been a dedicated accountant and business man. Arnold also took pride in donating his time and accounting services to a local organization. He will best be remembered for his kindness, generosity, honesty, compassion and loving nature. His vast knowledege and his appreciation for the simple things in life is greatly respected. Arnold’s passion was music. From an early age he played the drums and this skill allowed him to enjoy various musical artists. Beloved husband of Shirley, loving father of his daughter Rhonda and son Danny (Elisa); his brother, Benny (Serki); his sister, Edith; his brothers-in-law, Ron and Harvey (Ricki); as well as his sister-in-law, Estelle (Jerry). He will also be lovingly remembered by his mother in law Mary Goldberg and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Chevra Kadisha Of Calgary, (North East Corner of Highway 22X & 37th Street S.W.,) on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Beth Tzedec Memorial Park, (122 Shalom Way South West, Calgary).
