Margaret McKibbin

Obituary of Margaret Anne McKibbin

It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Margaret McKibbin on Friday, January 18, 2008. Predeceased by her husband Brian in 2000, Margaret will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her two daughters, Sherry (Scott) Chollak and Cindy (Peter) MacDonald; son Ward (Corla) McKibbin; six grandchildren, Lauren, Abbey, Nicole, Amy, Connor, and Maren; her brother David (Elaine) Mackenzie; and her sister-in-law Mona (Jack) Kenny. Margaret was very loving, caring, and generous and even shared her home with those in need. She particularly enjoyed talking and sharing stories with others and had many good friends. She loved her family and was happiest when everyone could be together. Margaret enjoyed her home and neighbourhood but her passion was gardening. She spent countless hours keeping her yard immaculate, which was her pride and joy, and her garden was admired by many. Margaret’s family are respecting her wishes by gathering privately in lieu of a service. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 200, 119 – 14th Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6 Telephone: (403) 264-5549, www.heartandstroke.ca.
