Obituary of Robert Vernon Ziegler
Robert (Bob) Vernon Ziegler, beloved husband of Yvonne Ziegler, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at the age of 75 years.
Bob was born on November 14, 1932 in Medicine Hat, AB. He was a resident of Calgary for over fifty years during which time he was employed by Coneco Equipment for thirty years. Bob and Yvonne retired to the East Kootenay’s where they loved the peace and quiet, the mountains, and the people.
Besides his loving wife Yvonne, Bob is survived by his children and their spouses, Rick and Tami, Brian and Gwen, Bob and Leslie; and eight grandchildren, Bob, Nicole, Kendra, Brian, Courtney, Cayla, Hannah, and Logan. He is also survived by his sisters, Lois (Ken) Krasman, Elaine King, Karen Stephens, and Mavis (Jim) Burton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
